Construction Ready Program

This new program was developed in consultation with industry experts and is geared to youth who have an interest in working in the construction and trades industry. It consists of three micro credentials; graduates will hold a Construction Ready Recognition of Achievement. Students will be prepared for entry-level jobs in the construction industry where demand is high and earning potential is good and have all required safety certifications. Research indicates that between 2021 and 2030, there will be over 100,000 job vacancies in the construction industry due to retirements and industry growth. Employers must find creative solutions, including hiring entry-level employees and helping them to develop the skills required on the job.
