Introducing our innovative program, meticulously crafted in collaboration with industry experts to cater to the aspirations of youth keen on exploring opportunities within the renewable energy sector. Through a blend of theoretical foundations and hands-on practical skills development, participants engage in diverse learning activities aimed at providing a holistic understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle (HEV) technology. Classroom lectures lay the theoretical foundations, while hands-on lab sessions offer practical skills in diagnosing and repairing HEV components. Reinforcing this learning are practical exercises and collaborative group discussions, fostering problem-solving and knowledge exchange. Moreover, guest speaker presentations by industry experts provide valuable insights into current trends and real-world applications. This multifaceted approach ensures that students receive a well-rounded education, preparing them for success as proficient and knowledgeable HEV technicians.

Program Accreditation:

The application is currently in process. No enrollments, advertisements, or marketing will be entertained until this program is approved by the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills. 

Length of the Program:
The duration of our program spans six weeks, encompassing a total of 180 hours of comprehensive instruction and hands-on training. This condensed time frame ensures that students receive a focused and intensive educational experience, preparing them effectively for their chosen career paths within the renewable energy industry.

 

General Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Possession of a High School Diploma or Equivalent, or
  2. Mature Student Status (19 years of age or older) and Proof of English Language Proficiency.

English Language Proficiency Admission Requirements
Domestic Students:
Domestic students must demonstrate proficiency in English by meeting one of the following criteria:

  • Completion of Grade 10 English, or
  • Successful completion of the English Language Proficiency Assessment Test administered by College Authorities.
  • International Students:
    International students can meet the Math Entrance Assessment requirement by providing an equivalent to Canadian High School Math 10, 11 or 12 with a passing grade of ‘C’. The credential must be evaluated and verified.
